It provides guidance on our condition grading standards, explains the characteristics commonly associated with each condition grade, and establishes realistic expectations for purchasing authenticated pre-owned luxury products.
1.2 Scope — This Guide applies to all products sold by KCLUXURYBAGS, including handbags, small leather goods, watches, jewelry, accessories, and other luxury products, unless a particular product is expressly described otherwise.

The condition grade assigned to each product represents KCLUXURYBAGS’ overall professional assessment of the product at the time it is listed for sale.
1.3 Relationship with Other Policies — This Product Condition Guide forms part of the contractual relationship between the Customer and KCLUXURYBAGS and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Return & Refund Policy, Authentication Guarantee, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Payment Terms & Conditions, and any other policies applicable to the transaction.

This Guide explains the condition of a product and should not be interpreted as a guarantee regarding authenticity, future performance, market value, or investment potential. Those matters are governed by their respective policies.
1.4 Professional Assessment — Every condition grade assigned by KCLUXURYBAGS reflects our professional assessment of the product as a whole. This assessment considers the item’s overall presentation, structural integrity, functionality, signs of previous use, and cosmetic condition rather than focusing on any single characteristic.

Condition grading is intended to provide Customers with a practical understanding of a product’s overall state. While KCLUXURYBAGS strives for consistency, grading remains an exercise of professional judgment and should be considered together with the accompanying photographs, videos, descriptions, and disclosed condition details.

2. Understanding Our Condition Grading

Before assigning a condition grade, every product undergoes an internal inspection by KCLUXURYBAGS to evaluate its overall appearance, structural condition, functionality, completeness, and visible signs of previous use.
Our condition grades are intended as practical guides rather than precise scientific measurements. Where approximate percentage ratings are displayed, they serve only as a general reference to help Customers compare products within our grading system. The assigned condition grade remains KCLUXURYBAGS’ overall professional assessment of the product and should always be considered together with the product description, photographs, videos, and disclosed condition details.

3. Our Condition Assessment

Every product offered by KCLUXURYBAGS is individually inspected before it is listed for sale. Our condition grade reflects the product’s overall presentation rather than any single characteristic.
When assessing a product, KCLUXURYBAGS considers its exterior and interior condition, structure, shape, corners, handles, straps, hardware, glazing, stitching, cleanliness, functionality, and any other visible characteristics that may reasonably influence a Customer’s purchasing decision.
No single imperfection automatically determines a product’s condition grade. Instead, each product is evaluated as a whole, taking into account the cumulative effect of its cosmetic appearance, structural condition, functionality, and overall presentation.
For this reason, two products of the same model may receive different condition grades depending on their overall state at the time of inspection.

4. Condition Grades

Every product offered by KCLUXURYBAGS is individually inspected and assigned a condition grade based on its overall presentation at the time it is listed for sale. The assigned grade reflects our professional assessment after considering the product’s appearance, structure, functionality, and visible signs of previous use.
Condition grades are intended to provide Customers with a practical understanding of a product’s overall condition. They should always be considered together with the product description, photographs, videos, and disclosed condition details.
4.1 Brand New — Products classified as Brand New are unused and remain in exceptional condition. They have not been carried or worn and generally retain their original appearance, structure, and finish.

Where available, Brand New items may include their original packaging, protective coverings, accessories, and accompanying documents. Minor handling or storage marks resulting from transportation or boutique handling may occasionally be present and do not affect the product’s classification.
4.2 Unused — Products classified as Unused have not been used by a previous owner but may no longer be considered boutique fresh due to storage, handling, age, or the absence of original packaging or accessories.

While these products remain unworn, they may exhibit minor storage-related characteristics that naturally occur over time and do not affect their authenticity or functionality.
4.3 Like New — Products classified as Like New have little to no visible signs of previous use and closely resemble the appearance of a new item.

Any indications of prior ownership are minimal and generally noticeable only upon close inspection. The product maintains its excellent overall presentation, structure, and functionality.
4.4 Pristine — Products classified as Pristine have been exceptionally well maintained and display only very light signs of careful ownership.

Minor cosmetic characteristics such as subtle leather creasing, faint hardware hairline scratches, or other slight signs of handling may be present but do not materially affect the product’s overall appearance or functionality.
4.5 Excellent — Products classified as Excellent show light to moderate signs of previous use that are consistent with responsible ownership.

Customers may observe minor corner wear, leather creasing, hardware scratches, glazing wear, or other cosmetic characteristics that are typical of a well-maintained pre-owned luxury product. These signs of use do not materially affect the product’s structure, functionality, or overall presentation.
4.6 Good — Products classified as Good exhibit more noticeable signs of regular use while remaining structurally sound and fully functional.

Visible wear may include softened structure, more apparent corner wear, glazing wear, hardware scratches, interior marks, discoloration, or other cosmetic characteristics consistent with age and previous ownership. These conditions are reflected in the assigned grade and, where material, are disclosed in the product listing.

5. Product Photographs and Descriptions

5.1 Product Photography — Photographs are an essential part of every product listing and should be reviewed together with the assigned condition grade, written description, and any accompanying videos.

KCLUXURYBAGS makes every reasonable effort to present products accurately. However, slight variations in color, texture, hardware finish, and other visual characteristics may occur due to lighting conditions, photography, screen resolution, display settings, and individual viewing devices.

Accordingly, minor differences between the appearance of a product in photographs and its appearance in person should not automatically be regarded as inaccuracies or defects.
5.2 Product Descriptions — Each product description is prepared based on KCLUXURYBAGS’ inspection of the item at the time it is listed for sale.

Where reasonably observable, material characteristics affecting the overall condition of the product will be disclosed. As every pre-owned luxury item is unique, not every minor sign of use or naturally occurring characteristic can be individually described.

Customers are encouraged to review the complete listing, including all photographs, videos, condition disclosures, and assigned condition grade before completing a purchase.

6. Natural Characteristics of Luxury Products

Luxury products are crafted from premium materials that naturally evolve over time through normal use, storage, environmental exposure, and aging.
Depending on the product, Customers may observe characteristics such as leather creasing, variations in grain, softened structure, glazing changes, hardware patina, minor shape variations, or other natural signs associated with authentic luxury craftsmanship.
These characteristics do not necessarily indicate excessive wear, poor condition, manufacturing defects, or authenticity concerns. Instead, they often reflect the natural aging process of genuine luxury materials and should be evaluated in the context of the product’s assigned condition grade.

7. Customer Responsibility

Customers are encouraged to carefully review the assigned condition grade, product description, photographs, videos, measurements where applicable, and all disclosed condition details before completing a purchase.

8. Relationship with Other Policies

This Guide explains KCLUXURYBAGS’ assessment of a product’s physical condition only. Matters relating to authenticity, returns, refunds, payments, shipping, and other aspects of the transaction are governed by their respective policies.

9. Amendments

KCLUXURYBAGS may revise or update this Product Condition Guide from time to time to reflect improvements in our grading practices, changes in business operations, developments in industry standards, or changes in Applicable Law.
Unless otherwise required by Applicable Law, the version of this Guide in effect at the time of purchase shall generally apply to the transaction.

10. Governing Law

This Product Condition Guide shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Guide shall be resolved in accordance with applicable Philippine law and before the appropriate courts or tribunals having jurisdiction.

11. Severability

If any provision of this Product Condition Guide is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. No Waiver

Any failure or delay by KCLUXURYBAGS in exercising any right or remedy under this Product Condition Guide shall not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy, nor shall any partial exercise of any right prevent the subsequent exercise of that right or any other available right or remedy.
